The spa with seven springs - six hot (50°C) and one cold - was already known to the first inhabitants of the region under the name of Disporekamma (hot water). It is the only attraction of the city. Even if you don't go there, you can't escape Caledon, as the resort markets one of the best mineral waters in the country. Unfiltered, it appears very brown, "Die Bruine Bronne", loaded with iron and manganese, at a temperature of 49 °C. The nature reserve of 214 ha allows to discover the numerous plants which constitute the fynbos. A pleasant 10 km trail can be followed.
