Crossed by the Cidacos River, the village of Enciso preserves more than 3,000 ichnites, that is to say, fossil traces of dinosaurs. The inauguration of a large dinosaur-themed theme park in 2010, El Barranco Perdido, makes this small village an interesting stop for families. On the heritage side, the parish church of Santa María de la Estrella, whose construction began in the 15th century and was completed three centuries later, is worth mentioning. The two chapels adjoining the single-nave church of San Pedro, which is flanked by a 12th century Romanesque tower, one dedicated to San Emeterio and the other to San Celedonio, are also worth a visit.
