This medieval village is surrounded by red walls and old houses suspended at an altitude of 1,200 meters. It is home to a casco antiguo of great beauty. Of Arab origin, the buildings are well preserved and present original ornaments in wood and wrought iron. The cathedral dominates the whole and the museum exhibits Flemish carpets from the 16th century. Numerous caves covered with cave paintings surround the city. Towards the west, the lands where the Tajo river springs offer landscapes of great beauty and natural curiosities such as the Berro waterfall.
