Albarracin is a magnificent starting point to discover the Universal Mountains, which rise to 1,856 meters. It is a unique landscape made up of limestone cliffs and rocky peaks, canyons with crystalline waters, outcrops of red sandstone and numerous rock paintings grouped together in the "Rock Shelters of Levantine Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin" World Heritage Site. It is organized around the Guadalaviar River and has sites suitable for mountaineering, hiking, hunting and fishing.

Magnifique le village d'Albarracin qui vaut à lui seul le détour. De belles balades sont possibles dans les Montés Universales, comme la Ruta de los Arcos à Camomarde avec des passerelles dans le canyon de la rivière.
