With a dozen windmills that have been restored, this town, famous for its saffron production, undoubtedly embodies at first glance one of the most emblematic aspects of La Mancha del Quijote. However, this city, located at the foot of Cerro Calderico, contains other treasures such as the city hall, the Corredores, the seat of the Municipal Museum, the church of San Juan or the hermitage of the Santísimo Cristo de Veracruz, whose museum of ex-voto is particularly noteworthy. Overlooking the city, you will see a castle with a dungeon, a fortress that dates back to the early days of the Reconquest, and the silhouette of one of the mills.
