The most outstanding building in this small town of 595 inhabitants is the Ducal Palace, a 15th-century Renaissance palace that was declared a historical monument in 1931. Cogolludo is also known for its Santa Águeda festival - classified as being of regional tourist interest -, which is held on February 5th and during which the women hold the municipal office for a day.
