You'll see Fonyód in the plain in the little lonely mount that is seen from afar. This small town, with its surroundings, is the "paradise" of family holidays (if you can get away from the dull and modern architecture of the majority of buildings). Children can splash in shallow water, on long soft sand cords. If you want to swim, you sometimes have to walk for half an hour to lose foot.
