The tiny village of Millaa Millaa, known as the "village in the mist", is the starting point for the Waterfall Circuit Road in the Tablelands. This beautiful circuit passes by three impressive waterfalls. It is 17 km long and starts at the Teresa Creek Road junction, one kilometer east of Millaa Millaa, on the Palmerston Highway which descends to Innisfall. The first waterfalls on this route, Millaa Millaa Falls, are the most spectacular of all. They form a very beautiful basin, perfect for swimming between the tropical greenery and the immense ferns.
