Glossa-Loutraki is the second port and village of the island. There are two distinct areas: at sea level, Loutraki is the port where the ferries sometimes stop before continuing to Chora; the old village of Glossa is perched on the heights. There are splendid panoramic views everywhere, especially at sunset. Its inhabitants still keep their traditional reserve, which contrasts with the more open welcome of the rest of the island. You can enjoy getting lost in the narrow streets with white houses that lead up to the central square. Glossa is a good base to discover the wild beaches of the northeast.
