Kambos, 2.5 kilometers from Evdilos, is a large bay on the site of the ancient Oinoé, a city famous for its vineyards, where, according to legend, the first vine stock grew. Today, one can visit the archaeological site where a small museum gathers the objects discovered in Oinoé. Ikaria still produces wine and the grapes are dried in the sun on straw so that they retain their aroma. Some rooms for rent allow those who wish to enjoy the beach and discover the villages inland: Pigi and the troglodyte monastery of Theoktisti, Frantato, Akamatra, in a splendid nature.
