This former quarantine place is used as a concert and exhibition hall. THE alternative place of the city!

To protect itself from plague epidemics (the one that struck Dubrovnik in 1348 caused many deaths), the Republic decided to set up a whole hospice, which eventually settled here, a stone's throw from the Ploce gate. This complex of five 16th-century courtyards, where every newcomer had to spend forty days, is now in the hands of a cultural association, Art radionica Lazareti. It is now an alternative venue in Dubrovnik, where well-known local bands and internationally renowned DJs perform at concerts.
