Make no mistake, you are not in an Indian restaurant but a Bosnian one. Here you will eat the famous sausages(ćevapčići) in a round bread, burek, kebab or lamb kebabs, with salad and grilled vegetables, in more than honest portions. As soon as the weather is good, you take a seat outside, but with the wooden tables colonizing the alleyway, it's busy. The coffee is served ceremoniously in its copper coffee pot, accompanied by a loukoum. The owner has opened another restaurant, with specialties, on the first floor of the Lero Hotel.

Owner's Message
We first opened our doors in 2004. At that time, our only publicity was the comforting and inviting smell that wafted from our grill and stove in the tiny kitchen of the old town restaurant where we started to share our culinary traditions.
Thanks to her, we finally got the space and freedom to introduce our guests to what Bosnian cuisine really is. From the moment you walk in, you are surrounded by a family atmosphere, Sevdah music and stories that we like to share with you in an atmosphere that combines modern comfort with the basic features of Bosnian architecture - all part of your experience.
The Taj Mahal has quickly become one of the favourite places to dine in Dubrovnik. If you want to taste cuisine that pays tribute to the oriental lifestyle and eating habits, food with soul, then we welcome you to our world!
