For fans of folk dances, this ensemble was founded in 1964 to promote Croatian dances and songs as well as traditional costumes. The linđo dance is the most popular in the Dubrovnik region and has been danced in the same way for over two hundred years. The dance is accompanied by the lijerica, an old three-stringed instrument native to southern Dalmatia. Established in Dubrovnik in 1965, the Linđo Folklore Ensemble is a cultural institution under the auspices of the City of Dubrovnik. It was named after the favourite and best known folk dance in the areas of Dubrovačko Primorje, Župa and Konavle.

FA Linđo's performances are held in Dubrovnik (Lazareti), Frana Supila 8, every Tuesday and Friday at 9:30 PM from the beginning of May to mid-October, except during the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, when we perform as part of their program.
