In the 19th century, the small Greek village of Vasiliko took its new name: Tsarevo. Today it is a small and quiet coastal town, located 15 km north of Ahtopol, where tourists staying in vacation villages come to spend a few hours to enjoy the quietness of the place. A small town museum and the remains of the largest wooden ship ever built in Bulgaria can be visited in the town center. From Bourgas, by bus, the trip takes 2h30 (between 3 and 6 buses per day). From Malko Tarnovo, one bus a day takes you there in 1h30. From Ahtopol, there are regular buses (20 minutes trip). By car, you will take the only coastal road.
