Travel Guide Chiren (Чирeh)

12 km from Vratsa. One comes here mainly to discover the impressive God's Bridge (Bojiya Most or Jabokrek), 100 m long and 20 m high, a natural bridge formed by erosion in the rock. One can admire the Ponora Cave (Понора), one of the widest in Bulgaria with its water galleries. Chiren is also home to Bulgaria's only natural gas station operated by Bulgartransgaz, which supplies not only the country, but also some other European countries. If you are in Vratsa and have a car, take some time to discover the few points of interest in Chiren. Otherwise, on foot, count about 3h30 of walking.
