Mile marker 37. A very beautiful place where the mountains seem to spring out of the ocean. The 2.5 km long beach that huddles around the green hills is laid out as a seaside resort (entrance fee: NT$ 100). You can swim there, but you can also camp there. Be careful however, in winter, the tide being higher, the beach is mostly submerged. Several Aboriginal tribes live in the vicinity; south of the beach, a fishing port allows you to go out to sea in their company. Hikers will be able to explore the Dashibi Hill Trail, which cuts through the surrounding forests. The path is perfectly marked out and is not too difficult to practice. At the end of it, the view of the ocean is remarkable.
