Pagsanjan is located 92 km southeast of Manila. Pagsanjan Falls, also known as Magdapio Falls or Cavinti Falls (named after the village from which the hiking trail starts), is the main attraction of the village and its surroundings. It is in this paradisiacal landscape that Apocalypse Now was filmed (or at least some of the final scenes), Francis Ford Coppola's mythical film about the Vietnam War.
