This is where independent travelers, campers and those who love peace and quiet like to stay. The beach is really beautiful and is only lined with a few small, often inexpensive, tourist facilities. There are very few tour groups: the clientele is mainly English-speaking and Kenyan. And the atmosphere is much more relaxed than on the rest of the coast. This small seaside resort is located north of Diani beach, about 17 km south of Mombasa. It is served by the Ukunda airport and by matatus that connect to Mombasa by road, via the Likoni ferry
