This small fishing village has developed the tradition of ceramics in Sicily since the 18th century. There is a school dedicated to this specialty, as well as a museum, Palazzo Sergio (open every day from 9am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm), and many small workshops. The main street is transformed into a vast market of ceramics of all styles. Before falling in love with the objects offered by the different artisans, take a look at the Chiesa Matrice to admire its beautiful Renaissance portal. The easiest way to get there is by train (Santo Stefano di Camastra station, 2 hours from Messina and 1 hour 40 minutes from Palermo).
