Well known for its pottery craftsmen, alfareros, this village is a fortress of suspended houses leaning over the abandoned meander of the Aguas River, set on a real geological whim of nature. Its subsoil has a large karstic complex formed of thick bedrock resulting from the underground action of dissolving water on the limestone rocks. Inside the village, there are several viewpoints from which you can observe the hanging houses and El Afa, the precipice on which the village rests.
