With a very large area of 214,300 ha, it is the most important natural park in Spain, which is both a Biosphere Reserve and a protected area for birds. Approximately 68.5% of the park is represented by part of the Sierra de Segura, the Sierra de Cazorla occupies a little over 20% and the rest is part of the Sierra de las Villas. This is the birthplace of two important rivers of the Iberian Peninsula: the Guadalquivir and the Segura. Many of these villages offer rural casas.
