Read moreIt is one of the oldest churches in the city, built in Visigothic times. But it has many styles: Gothic, Renaissance, the latter having made it even more beautiful. Note the carpenters' door, puerta de los carpinteros, which overlooks Calle Cervantes, in late Romanesque style, and its main door, overlooking Piazza 1 de Mayo, in Elizabethan Gothic style, in which plant motifs predominate. Inside, the various chapels show a very beautiful ironwork.

Read moreIt was built by Vandelvira from 1540 onwards, although the original plans are attributed to Diego de Siloé, who was the architect of the cathedrals of Granada and Málaga. And it is one of the most important works of the Spanish Renaissance, especially due to its magnificent main altarpiece of the Transfiguration, as well as the sacristy, with its decoration symbolizing vices and virtues.
