About a hundred kilometers from Dakar. Coming to Mboro requires a slight detour, but it is a good stopover between Dakar and Saint-Louis. Nicknamed "the little Casamance", the locality is surrounded by cultivated fields. Tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce or onions, market gardening is the main activity here because of the good fertility of the land. 5 km away, Mboro-Sur-Mer is home to the fishermen's village. Don't miss the colorful spectacle of the fishing return. The Grande Côte is not protected from the wind, and powerful rollers come crashing down on the beach. It is not recommended to swim there.
