Jalpan, located in the heart of the Sierra Gorda, with a tropical climate that is sometimes stiflingly hot, is a pretty village from which you can explore the natural and cultural beauties of the region. It was here that the first of the five missions built by the evangelist Junípero Serra in the second half of the 18th century was constructed. The main square is very pleasant.
