With barely thirty permanent inhabitants, El Colorado is one of the most picturesque and secluded villages, although more and more second homes are being built. This small coastal village located between Guaymas and Kino owes its name to the mountain covered with red stones which dominates it. Recently, the locals have become aware of the charm of the place and offer canoe trips in their bay.
