The airport in the south of the island offers direct connections to Mauritius and Rodrigues. A duty-free store, car rental service via a telephone kiosk, with no surcharge unlike Roland Garros, and free parking. To get to Saint-Pierre from the airport, count €15 to €20 by cab. Bus line T of the Cars Jaunes network (www.carjaune.re) takes you to Saint-Pierre or Roland Garros (the line serves the whole west coast).

Travel to the North and west via lines 01, 02, S 04 and T in the south via lines S 1, S 2 and S 3, to the east via the S 2 line (by the plains). Hauts are served by Intercommunaux networks. The Z 0 line allows you to reach Saint-Denis in an hour, via the Tamarisks road.

Alternéo is the transport network for the South of France. With its pink buses, it serves the six communes of Saint-Pierre, Saint-Louis, L'Étang-Salé, Petite-Île, Cilaos and Les Avirons.
