The airport in the south of the island offers direct connections to Mauritius and Rodrigues. Bus line T of the Cars Jaunes network (www.carjaune.re) takes you to Saint-Pierre or Roland Garros (the line serves the whole west coast).

Travel to the North and west via lines 01, 02, S 04 and T in the south via lines S 1, S 2 and S 3, to the east via the S 2 line (by the plains). Hauts are served by Intercommunaux networks. The Z 0 line allows you to reach Saint-Denis in an hour, via the Tamarisks road.

In 2019, the Alternéo bus network launched its bicycle version: Altervélo. The idea is to offer monthly or yearly rental of bicycles, with or without electric assistance and electric scooters. Bicycle compartments are provided in the buses, with pick-up at the Saint-Pierre covered market and at Saint-Louis station. The service also offers secure private parking spaces that can be opened with a key. Ideal for long stays and discovering the southern region at your own pace, while being environmentally friendly.
