MARCHÉ FORAIN

Market
4.4/5
7 reviews

A festival of colours and scents for this market, coming in third place in #YourMostBeautifulMarket in 2018 and 2019. It is also one of the least expensive on the island. Along the waterfront, fill up on vanilla, glean tempting recipes, familiarize yourself with the various chili peppers of the island or buy faham leaves, not found in France, to marinate in your rum arranger. On the handicraft side, original jewellery and quality Malagasy creations. Here, you will leave with vitamins in your body and smiles in your eyes.

PÂTISSERIE LUCIEN MANCIET

Patisserie
4/5
1 review

Lucien Manciet, an artisan baker-pastry maker with the Label Rouge Bagatelle, is a reference in Saint-Pierre. First of all for his breads, certified organic, but above all for his pastries: local fruit mousses, French desserts revisited in the Creole style, you will devour with your eyes the different products displayed in the shop window. Also a chocolate maker, the shop is full to bursting at Christmas and Easter. A passion passed on in the family, from generation to generation!
