Restaurant with terrace offering superb home-made desserts in Val d'Oingt.

A stronghold of fine dining in the heart of Beaujolais. The first asset of this gourmet restaurant is the view. From the terrace, the panorama of the vineyards is breathtaking. Breathtaking, but not hungry! Because the Table du Donjon lives up to its reputation. Charming welcome, well-laid tables, everything is done to let us enjoy the cuisine of chefs Cédric, Jean-Marc and Mathieu, who showcase seasonal produce in creative dishes. Superb homemade desserts. Excellent wine list. A Table to die for.

Cadre joli, nourriture correcte avec des plats bien présentés sauf que la garniture pourrait changer en fonction des plats. La chantilly pourrait aussi être faite maison.

Nous avons pris deux menus à 48 euros, un peu déçu sur le rapport qualité prix et la présentation des entrées et plats, mais le dessert aux noix et caramel remonte la note de la cuisine. Excellent service, seul bémol, que le verre de vin commandé avec chaque plat n arrive pas au même moment…

I highly recommend this restaurant. Very tasty dishes, quite large portions, suitable for visiting with family, romantic dinner. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere with a wonderful view! Open terrace. Dog friendly.
