Restaurant with terrace offering superb home-made desserts in Val d'Oingt.

A stronghold of fine dining in the heart of Beaujolais. The first asset of this gourmet restaurant is the view. From the terrace, the panorama of the vineyards is breathtaking. Breathtaking, but not hungry! Because the Table du Donjon lives up to its reputation. Charming welcome, well-laid tables, everything is done to let us enjoy the cuisine of chefs Cédric, Jean-Marc and Mathieu, who showcase seasonal produce in creative dishes. Superb homemade desserts. Excellent wine list. A Table to die for.

Vue magnifique. Plats de très bonnes qualités. Quantité raisonnable et présentation impeccable. Dommage que le premier menu a 35€ ne propose pas 2 choix / 1 entrée et 1 plat non modifiable ce qui oblige à prendre l’autre menu beaucoup plus cher si vous ne pouvez pas manger ce qui est proposé ! Service un peu expéditif parfois , réflexions d’un serveur …

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant ! Les plats étaient très bons sans pour autant être exceptionnels d'où mon 4 étoiles (il manquait la petite étincelle) . En revanche le service et la situation de la terrasse étaient au top !
