Combine the 71 regional leagues and committees, ensure the coherence of the regional sports movement, contribute to the defence and development of regional sports heritage, promote permanent monitoring of the sports population and ensure information on the prevention and control of doping, participate actively in the distribution of state appropriations, and promote and develop the Olympic spirit. These are the objectives of the CROS, which have also been strongly mobilised during the 2012 OJ.

Made available to athletes by the city, it offers visits (free for lyon associations) to the practice of a sport, as well as specialized visits for top sportsmen.
