Comfortably settled for 13 years in the former residence of the treasurer of Louis XIV, Barthélemy Amengual is a jewellery manufacturer listening to your ideas, creating original pieces from your sketches or your original models. Although, he does not describe himself as a jeweller, but as a gemmologist jeweller–a stone searcher–, his shop has original pieces on the theme of Lyon, of Vieux Lyon in particular, its history and its landscapes. But what Barthélémy Amengual–who receives only by appointment–loves above all is to go to the ends of the earth to find the rare stone, the unique pearl, which will adorn your person. In the basement, the vaulted cellar hosts an exhibition of old pieces of jewellery.
