Although silk has been woven in Old Lyon since 1536, it must be acknowledged that it has almost disappeared from the shops. Thanks to Yves Cordin, a textile technician for more than 25 years, this shop, located in a magnificent place, the Hostellerie du Gouvernement, presents in three vaulted rooms high quality silks and products made in the Aura region. The choice is vast with plain, jacquard, printed or hand-painted silks: scarves, scarves, squares, stoles, ties or retail fabrics. Dress local!
