Boasting a superb terrace overlooking a picture-postcard square, a brasserie-style dining room with stained-glass ceilings and a smiling, efficient team led by Sébastien Chenu, Comptoir du Bœuf serves up excellent traditional cuisine. Chef Marie-Noëlle Brun works exclusively with quality produce on a menu featuring Lyon specialties alongside a remarkable selection of meats in the Assiette du boucher. The wine list guides us to other treasures. Exceptional value for money and pleasure.

Situé dans une ruelle du Vieux Lyon, ce bouchon lyonnais est très convivial (accueil, sourire, décor typique). Les plats sont bons et copieux (salade lyonnaise, salade de lentilles au cervelas, andouillettes, quenelles, saucisson chaud). Le rapport qualité / prix est très correct.

Very pleasant surprises! I recommend this small restaurant in the St Jean district where the restaurants " type; bouchons" do not miss but the bar beef takes its pin from the game by its very friendly welcome and quality from these dishes. Good value for money: we took the menu at 16th to starter, main course, dessert which was generous, with a wide choice and all was very good and typical lyon. I recommend it!
