The first advantage of this hotel is its hyper-central location between Bellecour and Jacobins, close to Vieux-Lyon and all the sites to visit. An exceptional location and very reasonable rates, not to mention comfortable rooms, a relaxed family atmosphere and the kindness and advice of an ever-present receptionist. Tasty breakfast served in a beautiful vaulted room, where you can also enjoy a drink in the evening.

The Elysée Hotel welcomes you in a fully renovated 19th century building in the heart of downtown Lyon, a stone's throw from Place Bellecour. This hotel, with 29 pleasantly decorated, comfortable and clean rooms, is ideal for a discovery stay or a business stay. Located in a privileged environment in the heart of the historical center of Lyon, you will be able to visit the most beautiful places of the city such as the district of the Old Lyon, the museums, the Opera...Very close abound numerous stores, antique dealers, cinemas, bars...Surrounded by many restaurants, you will have the opportunity to taste the small dishes sought after by the capital of the French gastronomy.

The hotel has a bar and a breakfast room in an old vaulted cellar. It is possible to book our meeting room with a capacity of 20 people. Wifi access is free throughout the hotel. All our rooms are air-conditioned, have a flat screen TV with TNT, a private bathroom with toilet and hair dryer.

Room was very very small, bed as well. Everything run down. There's a full 20!strep stairs until you get to the elevator. One good thing was an air conditioning. Also, location is good. Otherwise, would not recommend, was not a pleasant stay even for one night.

The location is very central, right in the center of the city. The rooms have basic needs (sheets, towels, hand-soap, hairdryer) and air conditioning. Cleanliness can be improved. The WiFi was not always working and a bit slow. The breakfast was simple but nice, with some bread (including croissant and pain au chocolat), yogurt, jams, coffee, milk and juice. There is a small elevator that can be taken on the first floor. I'm not sure if it can be used to go downstairs where breakfast is served. If not, be aware of some steep stairs. The staff was very friendly!

Great little hotel in a great location. As others have said the rooms are very basic, but the staff were all very, very friendly throughout our stay, even being very kind and patient with my broken French.
Breakfast is served in a very cozy downstairs area, coffee and a nice selection of breads as well as yoghurt and jams.
The whole of the city centre is within a short walk so it's a perfect place to stay for visits.
I would happily stay here again.
