La Mère Jean celebrates its 100th anniversary! Rue des Marronniers is proud to be home to this bouchon, founded in 1924. Unlimited pleasure, especially at this price! The tightly-packed atmosphere on the terrace and in the cute dining room is matched by the adorable, efficient service, despite the crowds. Simple, short menu, seasonal slate... Eating fresh produce without wasting an arm is possible thanks to smart sourcing full of freshness and flavor. Seasonal vegetables and traditional dishes. Good wines too, including the best Gamay in the world!

Lieu typique du petit bouchon lyonnais. Accueil très chaleureux du personnel. Cuisine traditionnelle et succulente tout ce qui fait la particularité d’un petit bouchon. Ambiance super. De passage sur Lyon nous y reviendrons et nous recommandons ce lieu authentique où il faut réserver pour pouvoir y manger car la salle est très petite.

Globalement, très bon accueil, plats copieux et bons (petit bémol sur le dessert) à un prix complètement raisonnable ! Par contre, pas de possibilité d'emporter ce qu'on ne finit pas, c'est ni conforme à la loi, ni dans l'air du temps de l'anti gaspi. Dommage.

Typique bouchon lyonnais et le plus ancien ! Nous avons passé une très bonne soirée. Plats copieux et fait maison, très bon rapport qualité-prix. Vraiment une adresse à connaître. A refaire très vite.
