Restaurant in a friendly contemporary setting and offering a beautiful wine list in Lyon.

It's not the number of years or the postcard decor that makes a corker. A Guignol and a checkered tablecloth are no substitute for the art of entertaining and the art of making good food! Housed in an old Lyonnais restaurant in the heart of the Presqu'île, Bouchon Tupin offers a contemporary, friendly and well-kept setting, with dishes that combine tradition and modernity. Great energy on all levels, from the welcome to the dishes featuring seasonal produce: perfect egg meurette, veal chuck confit, before finishing with a homemade creamy rice pudding. A fine wine list. The spirit of the best bouchons.

Un incontournable pour moi à Lyon. Pensez à bien réserver !
Une carte simple et efficace. Des œufs en meurette et quenelle dé-li-cieux !
Un service proche et aimable (pensez à avoir un peu de monnaie pour les tips, car les serveuses le méritent bien !).
Une ambiance typique sans frioritures. À tester absolument.

One of the best food I had in Lyon. I was surprised to have one of the best ceviches I’ve had in my life in this bouchon - tiny but worth it. The rest of the food was equally amazing it. Would love to go back!

Tipico buchon lionese, apparentemente meno turistico di altri, nonostante la posizione certamente favorevole. Ambiente gradevole, con servizio efficiente e cortese. I piatti della tradizione locale corrispondono alle aspettative e la cena nel complesso è soddisfacente, forse solo la tarte praline non all’altezza.
