Generally, Futé does not much appreciate that the local businesses try to copy those of NY. Proud to be a native of Lyon and proud of our expertise, especially when it comes to cooking! But here, as gourmet as we are, we cannot hold on to applaud and enjoy the delicious doughnuts made daily by Hello Brooklyn. And if the city center of Lyon bears little resemblance to the neighbourhood of the Big Apple, the fresh doughnut taste take us well beyond the oceans. But for those who missed an episode, what's a doughnut? To better understand what it means, you just have to come early in the morning in this shop where nothing is hidden, as each morning the doughnut, American pastry in shape of circle with a hole inside, filled with coulis of fruits or iced fruits, are made in front of us. This is our favourite delicacy for breakfast or snack, and it is melting as we like it to be and have a crispy texture. At Hello Broolkyn, where the welcome is always very friendly, flavours vary with the seasons and the inspirations of the moment. Among the classic, let's mention: chocolate-Oréo, caramel with salted butter, Nutella, speculoos, banana, marshmallow, without forgetting the unique flavours as this doughnut of the week filled with mango puree, lemon frosting.
