With its terrace, Chez Way offers a lovely welcome with vegetarian cuisine at a good value.
Lyon is a city of counters. So when an Asian counter opens on the new Grand Passage between Saint-Nizier and the Saône, there's no hesitation in discovering it. There's a small terrace where you can enjoy the view towards Fourvière, and a tiny room where you can relax if you don't want to take away. At the counter, you'll receive a warm welcome from the ladies who present you with the famous banh mi, a sandwich made with a special bread - a baguette inherited from colonial times - and ingredients from the dozen or so in-house recipes: marinated chicken, lacquered pork, lemongrass beef, "house specials" or vegetarian versions... Excellent value for money, so you can eat well without breaking the bank.

Leur sandwichs (bahmi) sont à tomber! Ils sont abordables et on peut s’asseoir en terrasse ou à l’intérieur (petit espace). Service attentif.
2022:
En quête d’un repas frais j’ai opté pour un bunbo. La fraîcheur y était et le plat était bon en plus d’être copieux. Malgré tout, je m’attendais à plus de saveur en bouche, c’était un peu sec. Sinon personnel très sympathique et avenant.
Les prix sont corrects et l’attente aussi. Le cadre est sympa avec petite terrasse en face de l’église. Je pense que je reviendrais tester leur banmi qui a l’air sympa. Ils prennent la carte resto!
