Very pleasant restaurant with terrace on the old market place of Julienas.
A Coq that has been singing in Juliénas' market square since 1923. This cheerful and dashing establishment, run by Marie Dias, perpetuates the best of the Beaujolais tradition. Whether on the small but very pleasant terrace or in the dining room, where you can admire every detail, including Alain Girel's ceramic fresco, you'll enjoy local cuisine that's very much in tune with its terroir. Living well, eating well, that's what Le Coq is all about, where you can feast on home-made pâté and a famous coq ivre de vin rouge (rooster drunk on red wine). A Coq that can be proud of what it offers gourmets.
