Eric Esnault, a passionate wine enthusiast, has set the benchmark for a wine journey through the Alps. An Alpine arc that extends to other wine-producing countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Slovenia. So many wonderful discoveries beyond our borders, often with rare wines from little-known terroirs, to be shared with a man who knows all there is to know about the subject. In a well-appointed boutique, you'll discover some 150 wines from the Alps and 300 from other regions. An offbeat microbrewery born from the impetus of Benoît and Quentin, who present their range of craft beers with original, one-off and even original recipes: the unique Jour en Chartreuse, a Chartreuse white, Amère Noëlle (house IPA), Échec & Malt, an orange white, MaltoBar (Bar), a cereal triple, ^Pils3, an Apa blonde.... But MaltoBar is also a place where you can learn the secrets of brewing and make your own beer. MaltoBar can also brew "customized" beers on request. A word of warning: L'Apogée du Vin is moving during the summer (and the writing of our guide). The address will change, but will remain in the neighborhood. What won't change is Enora Le Roy's passion for "committed" organic and biodynamic wines.
