LA BUVETTE DU MARCHÉ

Bar and caf
4.3/5
4 reviews

Unclassifiable, inescapable, it is there that everything begins and it is also there that everything ends since... 139 years! In other words, the Buvette du Marché is one of the city's institutions. A place that is both picturesque and atypical. Picturesque, but the Buvette is not obsolete and is even more beautiful, even warmer to welcome us at dawn when a cup of coffee is needed to start the day before going to the market or to work. A day that continues between the terrace, animated at all hours, and the bar where you can enjoy meeting new people. Perfect service and good humour guaranteed for this bar which is part of the heritage of Annecy.

LE BAR ROUX D'HEURE & LA BRUNE

Bar and caf
5/5
1 review

A Roux and a Brune have made their mark on the local gourmet scene with their atypical world of brocante, cool good living and all-day goodies. It starts mid-morning and ends at the end of the day under the arcades. With friends and family, you can enjoy a plank, a late brunch served daily until 3:30 pm, a non-stop menu and great drinks. From pancakes to brownies, it's a treat to share. A pleasant terrace to prolong the pleasure. A comforting address.

L'A-CÔTÉ

Lounge bar

An A-Côté that we like to call our main address. A-Côté because this space, which is only open during the summer season and depending on weather conditions, is at the far end of the Clocher terrace and petanque court. But once you've found it, you'll never want to leave! A lounge atmosphere with comfortable sofas and a small Japanese garden to enjoy the fine weather without a cloud in sight. A selection of wines, beers, aperitifs and cocktails, as well as a "finger food" menu to enjoy tapas during an aperitif that extends right through to a game of pétanque. Privatization to celebrate any personal or professional event.

SAVOIE BAR

Bar and caf

It's hard to get more authentic! At the Savoie Bar, no one cheats or puts on an act. In a place where it would be so tempting to catch tourists in its nets, the Savoie Bar does not compromise to share with us a passion for the good things in life. So, you absolutely have to sit on the terrace to admire the beautiful Savoyard frontage and to savor the good local air. When the temperature drops, we take advantage of it to chat at the counter around a black coffee or to taste an excellent glass of Savoy wine as an aperitif or an old-fashioned mulled wine to warm up. At lunchtime and on Saturday evenings, we serve home-made family cuisine.

LE OUISTITI À ROULETTES

Bar and caf
4.5/5

8 years since we said yes to Le Ouistiti. A little monkey who welcomes us into a warm and welcoming room, with a beer cellar to keep you fed even when the bar is closed. It's just behind the Bonlieu center, and the place to come for a local craft beer, or a well-chosen glass of wine accompanied by a platter of artisan charcuterie and farmhouse cheeses. Rums and whiskies are also on offer, and the cocktails are delicious. At lunchtime on weekdays, you can indulge in a carefully thought-out home-cooked meal, with snacked red mullet fillets, celeriac mousseline, roasted fennel and roasted hazelnuts. Live music and a festive spirit.

LA CAVE

Bar and caf
4/5
3 reviews

A wine cellar where you can enjoy an aperitif dinner - amazing cuisine by a real chef who concocts delicious dishes to share... - or spend an evening with friends. With a wine list worthy of connoisseurs, La Cave serves wines by the glass - over 40 wines by the glass, with grands crus regularly opened - or offers even rarer bottles (around 500 references), with a good Savoy wine or a grand cru from Burgundy, not forgetting bubbles and spirits, around a table well sheltered from passers-by on rue du Pâquier, a stone's throw from the lake. As for the owners, they set the tone with all their energy and offbeat humor. Concerts some evenings.

CAFÉ DES ARTS

Bar and caf
4/5

The haunt of many an annécien.ne.s since 1977. An unusual place, since it's right in the heart of the old town's most touristy district, the one to be avoided at all costs in the high summer season, while preserving an "island" of tranquillity for the locals who like to take refuge here. If you're staying in Annecy, this is the place to come for a coffee croissant as the shadows stretch over the canal and terrace. All the poetry of Annecy. In a room full of character, don't hesitate to take advantage of the comics and books on offer. Exhibitions of objects, photographs, paintings and sculptures. A place apart.

MADIGAN’S

An Irish pub like they like at the north gates of Annecy, large, half-tiers to create some intimacy, with a steep and long counter able to welcome dozens of beer drinkers, Guinness followers of course. Barrels to taste Irish whisky, a wood and leather atmosphere, a nice Celtic trend music and the light that servers know graphically in the evening. To celebrate between friends, giraffes of 2,5 l of beer or the semi-bottle of gin, vodka or whisky, and to restore a tender Tender's with his pick and salad, unless you attack specialities Savoyard specialities! A pub whose main asset remains the bar (and the rhumerie open on weekends until 3 h) in a very festive atmosphere.

A café ideally located in the old town, so close to the Vieilles Prisons that you can breathe in the authenticity of an establishment that has lived for centuries sheltered by its thick walls. It's a café full of life and energy, so busy that it's a place where people live and breathe the present and the future, sharing good times. A bistro atmosphere in an authentic setting, with fast, efficient service and perfect Italian coffee, whether espresso or macchiato. Flavors that are the perfect accompaniment to brioches, croissants and toast... because here you can also enjoy breakfast with your family or friends. VINTAGE CAFE

The Vintage Café itself gives itself the title of'Epicurean bar in Annecy '; It is friendly to wish and the atmosphere is very good child. The bar offers a very good wine list. Moreover, the two managers regularly organise thematic evenings around tasting local products that combine with one of their wines. The bar is ideal for aperitifs after office; a simple space with good products. And boys who love boys, obviously.

VIN CHEZ MOI

Wine bar

If you too want to share some good times over good glasses of wine in a nice place, go to the Vin at my place. Because "chez moi" is at the same time Anthony Colon's place, the precursor of wine bars in Annecy, and a little bit your place. A really cosy and warm place that is not limited to a counter, but also to small, more intimate corners where we like to come as a couple to share a slate of quality products, well composed Palas Romanas, but also more surprising, refined dishes, over a glass or a bottle with a very nice selection from all regions of France. And if your feet itch, the dance floor opens your arms with good sound.

EL PUEBLO

Bar and caf

Looking for a destination where the sun shines all year round? Let's head for El Pueblo. A living space inspired by the travels of three adventurers who have brought back to this setting, in the atmosphere, in the glasses and plates, their finds from elsewhere. It's a warm, comforting, hybrid place where you can feel at home and share the flavours of the world in the evening. On the kitchen side, the chef offers quality tapas in small or large quantities to suit your appetite, with Mexican-style bao, chicken and vegetable gysozas, patatas del Pueblo or a trilogy of hummus. As for the bar, in-house creations for cocktails that take us on a journey. Super spot.

CAFE BUNNA

Bar and caf

As big as an Italian espresso (or almost), here's a tiny café where you can stop and enjoy the special atmosphere of Annecy's old town without the crowds. The café is also a concept store run by Olaf and Jolanda, Atelier 3841, where you can discover sustainable and responsible hoodies, as well as beautiful handcrafted ceramic pieces. In addition to the pleasure of discovering these objects, one must savor the happiness of an excellent coffee with a house blend, a selection of teas for all occasions and homemade pastries that taste great, just like the homemade croq's. Breakfasts in the same gourmet spirit.
