Affiliated with the French Paintball Federation since 1996, the Avignon Paintball Club offers you over 3.5 hectares of 100% shaded playing fields, divided into 4 different areas. All enhanced by bunkers, trenches, wooden walls and all kinds of hiding places to take your opponent by surprise. Come and conquer the teepee, the fort or the church, and have a few laughs in the process! The club organizes 3 vs 3 or 5 vs 5 tournaments on the first Sunday of each month.

The establishment is located on the southern ramparts of Avignon, not far from the Palais de Justice. La Bodeguita is a great place to come and dance, especially if you like Latin rhythms, as there's a DJ every night. You can also take dance classes (salsa, bachata, kizomba...). What's more, the food is good, whether it's fish or meat, it's simple and always fresh and concocted by Cuban chef José Antenor: it's also an invitation to travel. A place where there's no shortage of entertainment! Enjoy without moderation.

Located in the pedestrian intramuros, this place makes you want to go inside, first with its terrace, then inside with its animal decoration. Yes, all the armchairs are leopard! Finally an address in Avignon where you can enjoy a delicious bubble tea. With different flavors, with or without milk, it is a little known Asian drink here in France. You will be pleasantly surprised by the consistency of the tapioca beads at the bottom of your glass. This coffee-shop is also appreciated for its gourmet range of hot chocolates and cappuccinos.

The nice stopover that we offer you for a five o clock in a quiet place, far from the tourist turmoil, is at Alice et ses Merveilles, a few steps away from the church of Saint Didier in the heart of Avignon. After the lunch service, Stéphanie offers you a varied tea menu, hot or iced teas in summer, smoothies, pressed juices and milkshakes with homemade pastries or homemade ice creams. In the very cosy setting on the first floor, you can sit comfortably on a sofa at table height, your back well supported by soft cushions. It's the meeting point for Avignon high school students after school. The concept: an atmosphere and products inspired by New York. You can nibble on cheesecake, pancakes, bagels, donuts and other muffins all made on the spot. For drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, hazelnut or caramel lattes, milkshakes, iced tea, chocolates and flavored coffees, a variety of syrups including a very sweet specula. And the little detail that appeals to young people: they are given a beeper that rings when the order is ready. As soon as it rings, it is served!

Located in the heart of the city, this 100% gay club is a real institution and, let's face it, one of the few places where you can have fun every day of the week until the wee hours. The trans parties are pretty huge 100% crazy. Music-wise, it's a mix of clichés and a bit more cutting edge. But on the whole, it hums and it is also for that that we like this discotheque. There are sometimes some DJs in guest star and theme nights, that boosts the atmosphere. And there, the outfits can be quite crazy!

Gérard Gélas established this theater in 1971 in the Sainte Catherine chapel. It is one of the pillars of the performing arts in Avignon, presenting both the creations of the master of the place, and hosting the biggest names of the French scene. It has a string of successes that are played to full houses. The rich programming of plays, concerts and conferences. Practical theater workshops are also held for teenagers and adults. In July, the Chêne noir theater is a must for the Off festival.

It is very close to the Place de l'Horloge (the most touristic of the city) amidst a very pedestrian street and its large sunny terrace is always crowded in summer. It is frequented by regulars. During the festival, it is a rather strategic place to see the Off troops parading and to get tickets for the shows. The rest of the time is a happy blend of high school students who eat from the eyes, the setting while swallowing a croque-monsieur on the go... Inside, you can take a salad or grilled meat, when the weather is bad.

Inside Les Halles, it's an epicurean counter where the shopkeepers of the halles, the regulars, mix, there's really a beautiful energy every time. The mistress of the place is very welcoming with her smile and her kindness. We go there to have an aperitif with our friends. We share one, two and three bottles and we finish a little further away as soon as the end titillates us around a seafood platter. "The place to be" is the place to be for the Avignonnais on Sunday morning! You can read the local press there and remake the world.

The dedication to the Avignon Festival has obviously not escaped you! The room is contemporary and cosy, with a lounge atmosphere. The main attraction is the huge terrace facing the Palais des Papes, where you can sip a glass or a coffee, absorbed in contemplation. During the festival, of course, the place is packed and the waiters are at their wits' end. Plan ahead if you're going to see a play. Especially when the establishment invites artists to liven up the evening. You can ask for Wifi too.

This is the meeting place for the people from Avignon who come here to have their little aperitif. You can't miss this establishment on the Place des Corps-Saints, with its burgundy façade, its candy-pink neon lights and its rustic interior typical of small neighbourhood bars. Les Célestins also has a large terrace around the fountain of the square, ideal for sunbathing. But beware, it can quickly get crowded when summer arrives! Sandwiches, salads, hot-dogs and waffles are provided in case you get hungry. A dynamic service.

Treat yourself to a chic afternoon tea at the Hôtel d'Europe, just as you would in a Parisian palace. Enjoy the art of French tea in a setting that's warm, cozy and luxurious without being ostentatious. L'Heure des Thés feels like a friendly home, with white tablecloths, fine porcelain cups and superb silverware. The service is smiling and Sophie's pastries succulent.

This theater is part of the five Scènes d'Avignon, that is to say the five permanent theaters agreed by the city with the Chêne Noir, the Halles, the Balcon and the Carmes. In July, during the festival, the Théâtre du Chien qui Fume and the Salle du Petit Chien are places where you will certainly find quality shows where humor is not absent! All year long, the theater offers a varied program: music, dance, theater, conferences, exhibitions.

Every year, in parallel to the festival, another little rendezvous makes a nice name for itself. It's the festival Théâtr'Enfants. For two and a half weeks, the children also have their little theatrical prog and it's great! During the year, the association programmes shows and artistic meetings with young people, early-learning workshops in leisure centres, schools and cultural structures. During this time, parents can go and see a play.

Right across from the TGV station, this new performance venue, which Avignon has been missing, is making its mark on the cultural landscape of the Vaucluse region, with the same capacity as the Olympia and the Silo in Marseille, seating 1,050 to 1,600, and a stage area of 450 m². Confluence sets the tone from its opening in February 2024, with headliners Pascal Obispo, Christophe Willem, Gad Elmaleh, Chico and rising stars. An eclectic program of variety, comedy, magic and musicals for all audiences.
