The Théâtre des Doms is a guest house and relay for all artistic expression and cultural dynamics in French-speaking Belgium, Wallonia and Brussels. It participates in a wide range of projects, including Ajmi, Les Hivernales, Scène nationale de Cavaillon, Culture.com and Cité Nez Clown... During the Avignon Festival, it hosts six or seven companies selected from a hundred or so applicants for a multidisciplinary program of theater, dance, circus and young-audience shows.

Gérard Gélas established this theater in 1971 in the Sainte Catherine chapel. It is one of the pillars of the performing arts in Avignon, presenting both the creations of the master of the place, and hosting the biggest names of the French scene.
