Family-run Tunisian patisserie taken over from father to son, also offering typical snacks in a friendly atmosphere.

This oriental patisserie is run by Robert Journo, and his son David, who has taken over to perpetuate the family business. Here, authentic Tunisia awaits you. Pastries, orange blossom water, homemade lemonade, Tunisian sandwiches and a daily special (chickpea soup with cumin, mloukhia stew or Loubia, a kind of Oriental beef cassoulet). We tried a fresh, melting almond makrout. A real delight. A warm welcome. The house is famous for its orgeat syrup. An address like only Marseille has, where Jews, Muslims and gourmet tourists meet. Kosher service.
