New roaster café on rue Vacon in Marseille, offering sandwiches and bowls for lunch, and cakes and cookies for afternoon tea.

An intriguing new address to join the many others that make the Rue Haxo and Rue Vacon the cool epicenter of downtown gastronomy. Risette is a café offering hot drinks all day long, with coffee roasted on site, as well as cakes, cookies, flans and sandwiches and bowls for lunch. The coffee is very good, but the food is disappointing. The shredded chicken sandwich is expensive for what it is, although the bread is crusty and not very generous. The cookie is very dry. A pity, but perhaps it will improve.

Une explosion de saveurs !

Sandwich au bœuf bien garni avec un pain croustillant et tendre. Le bœuf fondant préparé par le chef, comme tout le reste, avec passion et perfection. Un cookie, pour le dessert, hydraté comme il faut et pas trop sucré permet de clôturer un repas inoubliable. Pour reprendre le titre, une explosion de saveurs en bouche pour ceux qui savent apprécier les bonnes choses. Une adresse incontournable lors d'une visite du centre ville de Marseille.
