Where to practice an individual sport Bressuire

The bressuira club offers traditional karate education. Open for everyone from 7 years old, this sport, which requires concentration, flexibility and precision, is an excellent way to make sport by working as well. Like many martial arts, karate practice is based on Buddhist and meditative designs. Here, the "empty hands" or "naked hands" (translation of the word karate) have everything to do with the "release taken" and the idea of putting a distance between itself and its worries. Karate is also based on respiration, like yoga. The practice of this type of sport will allow you to stay fit but also to open up to yourself.

Located to the north of the town of Bressuire, this 18-hole course takes advantage of its surroundings to create a veritable green lung. Less than a kilometer from the town center, Yves Bureau designed each hole. The result is a demanding, technical and physical course. This 5,828 m Par 72 undulating course, with its many natural traps, is a pleasant and interesting course for beginners and more experienced players alike. In either case, scoring will be no easy task.

The commune of Bressuire is equipped with 3 greenways, accessible to all. The^1st Parthenay-Bressuire route, 30 km long, has been laid out on the old railway line: Bois du Theil, Fénery station, granite chaos, Château de la Chenullière and the Chanteloup viaduct enhance the ride. The^2nd takes you past Chapelle-Saint-Laurent. Finally, the 23 km Bressuire-Moutiers-sous-Chantemerle route now extends into the Vendée (+5 km). It links up with other cycle paths, the Argenton Valley cycle route and the Vélo Francette.
