In its heyday, the port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz/Ciboure boasted a hundred tuna and sardine boats, a thousand fishermen and canneries. When the situation changed, the maritime cooperatives had to diversify into other activities. The Comptoir du Pêcheur was born. The first stores sold marine clothing and fishing tackle. For more than 10 years, the former fish auction building has complemented the range with seafood products. The shelves are packed with food products.

Venez découvrir cette sympathique boutique, située près du port. Elle y propose de nombreux produits alimentaires venant de la mer (conserves, rillettes...). De plus, pour les adeptes de la pêche vous pourrez y acheter les équipements manquant à votre attirail.

L’accueil est très agréable avec de nombreux conseils .Magnifiques décorations (peintures) sur les murs. Cette boutique est spécialisée dans la vente de produits locaux et de la mer. (Conserves de soupe de poissons, sardines, anchois, thon, calamar etc.)
On y trouve aussi des piments d’Espelette, sel de Guérande, confiture et nombreux autres produits. Magasin très bien présentées avec des tarifs raisonnables.
