After 2 years' work, the former 19th-century cattle market has become a center dedicated to promoting culture. It includes 3 cinemas (one of which is the art-house "Le Méliès"), a 580-seat auditorium and a cultural café. Its mission is to promote access to culture and artistic education in Pau. It provides a place for artists to express themselves, while offering a variety of programs that enable the public to discover different art forms. Metamorphosed, the cultural hub is helping to transform the redevelopment of the Foirail district through exchange and sharing, where people can get together and discuss their cultural experiences.
