Chateau with one floor in Irissarry / Irisarri offering spacious and well-appointed rooms.

19th century castle in the middle of a wooded park with beautiful original antique furniture, including a living room with superb sofas, a collection of plates on a sideboard, an old staircase and large corridors with wood panelling leading to the bedrooms, all of which are pleasant, spacious and well appointed. A beautiful panel which can be completed on the floor above, by 3 other rooms, in another spirit and ideal for a family. Table d'hôtes on reservation with tasty breakfasts. The life of a castle where welcome and comfort are combined.

It was an incredible experience. The palace owners have a very deep knowledge of the region and the basque culture and they try to pass on all these wisdom to their hostages. It was a real immersion in the basque culture. Beautiful landscapes and villages. Absolutely recommendable.
